Our story
A family farm, one goat at a time.
Shaheen Acres started with a simple idea: raise animals with patience and care, grow food the honest way, and share both with our neighbors.
We founded the farm in 2025 just outside Elgin, Texas — a town known for its Blackland Prairie soil, its sausage and its small-town warmth. From day one, goats were at the center of everything we do.
We fell in love with Nigerian Dwarf goats for their gentle nature and big personalities. Today we raise Nigerian Dwarfs alongside sheep, ducks and chickens, and we tend a garden and young orchard that give us eggs, vegetables and fruit to share with our neighbors.
Every animal here has a name, and every kid that leaves the farm goes home well-handled and loved. We hope you'll come out and meet them.
